Speaking of being a hater. Are you going to be on the FBM side? Aledo all the way. Well, I will be wearing orange from the home side, whoever has that side. I dont know if they had said who is the home team.

They don't have the following of a lot of 3A schools. Not to mention the 350+ miles from Houston to ATT Stadium.

FBM has only been around like 15 years so they don’t have the tradition and following that small town 5A schools have. They are in an area of Fort Bend where a lot of kids are economically disadvantaged. That being said, I hope they bring it!

Think they had maybe 30 people in the stands ...

I do think Aledo is just a level above everyone else this year. But.......you cannot take FBM lightly because they are a tough squad that will get after it. I thought no way in hell would CS beat Aledo last year but they did. I think if Aledo plays the way they are supposed to they will take it but not a blowout type of game.

99% of the time I would root for Aledo over a R3 team but I’m having a hard time rooting against FBM. That team has been through hell the last week and I would not mind seeing them finish out with the big trophy. No offense Aledo you guys are awesome.

Oh my goodness at all the outrage. I said FBM should have blown out Calallen and didn’t do it. Would anyone dispute the talent gap between the two schools? With the same line of thinking, would anyone dispute that Phil is one of the best coaches in Texas, ever? Based on the talent margin and what they’ve done to similar schools on par with or better than Calallen, it should have been a blowout. However, I do understand that Phil probably had a great game plan to contribute to the close game. Long story short is that statement was a slight at FBM and NOT Calallen. Got it. Let's just say when I wrote my response to you earlier, I was waking from the after effects of some Shiner. Lol!

On Friday, they had more people show up as the game got closer to halftime. I can imagine some of them had timing issues not realizing San Antonio traffic in itself can be an issue if you are not familiar with the city as most Houston area residents are not vs we who frequent the city or live in or around. That was on top of getting out of Houston first. Still they won't be anywhere close to Collie Station's crowd from last year or Calallen's the year before.
