Was really looking for the Calallen rematch, but this one will be fun too. Question is if FBM is better than reedy and soc.

I have to say that this years version of Aledo while they had plenty of games that were really a no contest, they've also had to deal with a lot of their own adversity stemming from right before the season started with two of their supposedly best players leaving to having to deal with many injuries to key players throughout the season and that was probably more than we know. It could have been easy for them to slip up especially the last couple of weeks but they have had other kids step it up besides just the stars and the play makers making the plays when needed. I don't think anybody just gave it to them this year they've earned it.
Looking in to the crystal ball for next season, expect #6 to be the #19 clone.
As for the many seniors they'll lose, not to worry they have plenty in stock from their two JV's and always have at least a Soph sensation and maybe a Frosh as well. Everybody get your popcorn ready.

The offense will probably be better than both. FBM has been ranked at the top all season by Dave Campbells and Maxpreps.

I think Aledo rolls in this one. Calallen plays such a strange style of football that games are always close, but FBM doesn’t have that advantage. I think Aledo’s discipline and technique will just be too much. I can see Aledo dominating the line of scrimmage and picking them apart. 42-21

My avatar says it all I strongly dislike R3 teams because of that main city in the Region. Let’s go Aledo!

Couple factors seem to be in our favor. First is the fact we are familiar with the stadium (9-1) and the travel isnt bad. Secondly, we were able to rest starters in the second half. And finally, I would imagine we are more comfortable playing on this stage considering this is FBM first state appearance.

www.hudl.com/video/3/10036158/5c0f46caa677330a5c4acccbThis kid for FBM is impressive. Makes it look easy in the video. If he gets a step I doubt we have a kid that can catch him. Have to tackle him early and be very physical with him. Overall I think #1 for CS is better but this kid will make the Aledo All Opponent team for sure. 100% coaches will tell the kicker a million times this week not to kick the ball to him.

I think Calallen would have been a very tough game. With FBM the problems are obvious but they should have lost to Huntsville and I think FBM can be beaten. We just have to spread them out and get the passing game going more than we did last year against CS.
