Some improvements offensively from previous games, help having their best lineman back since first half of the first game of the season. Sinton had 4 good drives all led to tds, two of them to start the 2nd half other than that nothing doing against Yoakum defense. Yoakum has some good backs. Good luck to Bulldogs hope to see them at Jerry's World on TV again. Some highlights from game last night. Sinfan #8 for Yoakum is my great nephew. He told me he was impressed by Sinton. Even down by that many points they never gave up. Sinton s improving and should still make the playoffs.

Rockport-Fulton has clinched the 1st seed
Ingleside and West Oso have clinch a playoff bert.
Ingleside can finish 2nd or 3rd
West Oso can finish 2nd,3rd or 4th
Orange Grove can finish 3rd, 4th or out of the playoffs
Sinton can finish 4th with a win. 2 ways, with West Oso winning against Ingleside leaving Sinton and Orange Grove tied with Sinton head to head edge. Other way is if West Oso loses to Ingleside then West Oso, Orange Grove and Sinton finish tied. Max points is 18. West Oso +18 vs Sinton, -1 vs Orange Grove = +17 Sinton -18 vs West Oso, IF they win by +10 vs Orange Grove = -8 Orange Grove +1 vs West Oso, IF they lose by 10 vs Sinton = -9
Last district games Sinton at Orange Grove

I went to the Freshmen Game last night in Sinton between Rockport and Sinton. Rockport came into the Game with an undefeated Seaon. Earlier in the Seaon, Rockport had beaten Sinton 22 to 14. It was a very entertaining game between two good teams. Rockport took an early 15 to 0 lead before Sinton came back to make it 15 to 12 at the half. Rockport held Sinton on the opening drive of the Second Half and then drove 70 yards for a TD and a 23 to 12 lead. Sinton came back to score two unanswered TD's to win the game 26 to 23. Rockport fumbled the ball two times inside of the Sinton 10 yard line which turned out to be the difference in the Game. Rockport had a hard time defending Sinton's passing attack and Sinton had a hard time defending the run against Rockport.
The future looks bright for Rockport and Sinton. Both schools have good underclassman teams in Junior High and High School. It will be fun to watch the two schools battle in out for the next several years.

Thursday 7 pm W15 Rockport-Fulton (6-4) vs F16 Progreso (3-7) @ Alice, Memorial Stadium
Friday 7:30 pm all games R15 Corpus Christi West Oso (6-4) vs T16 Port Isabel (4-5) @ Mercedes Taylor ES, Tiger Stadium
T15 Ingleside (5-5) vs R16 Rio Hondo (8-1) @ Los Fresno, Leo Aguilar Memorial Stadium
F15 Orange Grove (5-5) vs W16 Raymondville (8-1) @ Donna, LaPrade Stadium
Rooting for a D15 sweep, the only lock i see is Rockport/Progreso with Rockport big in this game. Going to see this game tonight.
D16 best shot is with Rio Hondo high power offense against Ingleside. Ingleside controls the clock and finishes drives with scores they could pull off a upset.
Toss up game Raymondville/Orange Grove These two play each down to the last qtr every year and same thing earlier this season a Raymondville 42-38 win over Orange Grove.
West Oso wtih a slight edge over Port Isabel. I plan on going to valley to see a game on friday most likely be this one or the other two above.
Good luck to both districts, D16 has the better records so might have the leg up this season.
