Thanks for doing the mock realignment. I apologize if it sucks. No it's alot of time and no one can get it right when the UIL has the last call but it is nice to get something that we can all look at and talk about.

I thought 6A was done, and it isn't quite yet, so I'll post it another time.

And...I just noticed that Splendora's number had changed. It's 1145, so I'm taking them off.

So 4 teams still make it right? How is playoff seeding done? 1 plays 2 and 3 plays 4???

Harlandale is just under 2000 and McCollum at about 1700. I think they would opt McCollum up to stay in same district. Just my 2 cents.

With only 2 schools in the district, and being located in a metro area, why opt McCollum up? If they were isolated, that would be different.

Nice work and alot of common sense put into it and because of that very fact, the UIL is likely to do something totally different. See last realignment debacle down this way for a case study.

Have the Lubbock schools submitted their updated enrollment numbers? I was under the impression that their schools all had D1 numbers.
Good job, thanks for sharing!

They submitted them to UIL last Friday. However, DCTF hasnโt posted them, so they probably donโt have them yet. Coronado had firm 6A numbers last fall, so not sure where they fall, but it looks like Stepp has them 5A. The other 2 have what would be D1 numbers, but dropped down due to opt ups.
