It's starts from day 1. A team that has the mental fortitude to believe they can go the Round Rock/Austin from day 1 is the team that will be successful. You have to believe you can do it. I remember a long lost poster "Tito" said that his team was "on a mission to get to Round Rock". This after their first scrimmage of the season, he was ridiculed for it. "Cart before the horse". Was used to put aside his comment as foolish talk. Well "Tito" turned out to be right on mark with his confident talk. Ya gotta believe right from the gate, if not.. then move aside cause this train is gonna run you over.

Well Sinton and Moody last scrimmage at Sinton was just before the start of this season. Sinton jump on Moody early with Jordon Martinez HR and was up 3-0 after 4 innings. Moody rallies and win 5-3 in 9 innings. Umps left after 7 innings but both teams wanted to play 9 innings. Both these teams going after the ultimate goal.

Pretty cool, they both had the right frame of mind right out of the gate. Every year new super heroes emerge. That's what "reloading" instead of "rebuilding"is all about.

I have been to a Family Reunion this morning at Potosi Texas close to Wylie HS. It is well known fact that steaks from North Texas are better because the grass in South Texas is short on nutrients. Wonder if that helps the athletes from around Wylie and Aledo to eat steaks from Beef with better nutrients.

Moody won 4-0. FB pitcher walked a batter then hit 2 in a row to set up a 4 run inning. IMO it was obvious he should have been pulled after he hit the first batter. He had pitched five shutout innings up to that point but was clearly out of gas.

Coyotes get off to a bad start in Zone play losing to Ray 7-3.Coyotes committed 5 errors, outhit the Texans, but could not take adavantage of 4 Ray errors. Our young pitchers(Aguilar& Guzman,a soph.& Fr.,)are good, but, probably a yr.away from being dominant.Coyotes will try to bounce back this Fri. against GP who trounced Miller something like 18-2.They will play at Whataburger field.
