I'd imagine Calallen's only hope it so keep them off the bases entirely as I suspect if any of the Rattlers get on they'll just steel 2nd, 3rd, and home as well in 3 straight pitches every time. Good luck Calallen trying to defend that!

We need to take Sharyland just as seriously in BB as football with our run production this year. Also of course Medina Valley, I'm not dissing anyone else but both of those teams need to b taken that way. We've had years where we got hot late hitting ,but with a couple guys out for the year these Wildcats r certainly trying. IF they get run production up , this could b one of Those Teams.

Just as they saw us as the big bad wolf in football, the baseball teams down in the RGV see us the same in baseball. Nothing would make that class of seniors at Sharyland more thrilled than to get the scalp in baseball. And Sharyland over the years hasn't been too shabby in baseball. We will have our hands full.

Wichita Falls Rider (18-3) vs. Aledo (16-10)
Race to 2.
This is going to be a big test for Aledo. Maxpreps has Rider ranked 26th in the state and Aledo 291.

Do you have any idea how many sophs are starting for TIvy this year? I've heard that group is very, very special on the diamond from a dad who's kid plays with them with the Indians team.

Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while brother! No doubt Sharyland is for real but I'll go with the Wildcats. I'm also really hoping for a 2nd round rematch in 15 on the football field as well!

To be honest not sure CBuff. I do know that most of the team will return next year and their are a lot of sophs playing.

And yes a rematch would be fantastic next season as well as an extended season well into December. Being done by Thanksgiving sucks around here!

Looking at the region 1 bracket I would say Wichita Falls Rider, Fort Worth Arlington Heights, and Cleburne are teams to keep and eye on. Hopefully Aledo beats Rider and we join the group of teams to look out for. I do not know much about the West Texas teams so there could be a good ball club from there. Who are some teams that could end up winning the other regions?
