This is a long ass road trip for Cedar Park! But, Abilene Cooper made that same long ass trip last year to CP, so we have to reciprocate.
Abilene Cooper had a dog fight last week against Wichita Falls Rider and came up short; but apparently the final few mins were filled with lots of scoring by both sides. I think this week's game will be lower scoring than both teams had last week. At least I'm hoping the points scored against us last week was an anomoly.
I'm thinking CP in a well fought game 31 - 24.

Gonna go with Cedar Park in this one. 6 returning offensive and defensive players and playing at home. Abilene Cooper returns only 3 starters on defense. So the TWolves will win by 7-14 points.

Yall be safe and I hope the players on both sides stay injury free.

Yep. I listened to the last couple of minutes of that game on the radio and there were four touchdowns in the last two minutes. Both teams are really good and I think this could go either way. Cooper's QB is a UT commit (though he's expected to move to WR in college) and he's a real game changer. Don't know a whole lot else about them though.

This will be a good game. Cooper lost to a very fast Rider squad and this week they face a CP team that has added a pretty good passing attack to their running game, which makes them more dangerous. I think Rider will be hyped like these small town 5A schools usually are and I can see it being close and down to the wire again. Cooper is known for great offense and they put up over 500 yards last week. This game should be a shootout on paper and Cooper has size and speed, so I'll pick the T-Wolves to take the fall 31-28 on the road. Joe is a little more mobile than Severt.

This is a 4A board, and CP and Leander are a defending champ and a top 5 team in legit polls, but on here there are only 6 posts on this threat/poll and less on Leander vs. a 5A district champion with the state's best RB. CP goes on the road to face a very good 5A teams with size and speed that beat them last year, but no interest? They are both region 4 teams, but this seems to be the Coastal Bend 4A Texas Board.

LOL! I don't see any Abilene Cooper posters from 5A forum posting on here yet. Most of us think that this year's Cedar Park team is going to run the table. I don't see Abilene Cooper slowing them down. Looks like Cedar Park has a potent Offense this year. They will outscore their opponents rather than just the Defense shutting down the other team's offense.

CP, Leander and Guyer are playing killer schedules compared to the soft schedule Georgetown is playing. It was set up when they were in 16-5A and not making the playoffs, so the scheduled some very weak 5A schools like Ellison and McNeil and San Marcos. I wonder what G-towns record would be if they played Westlake, Abilene Cooper and Cedar Hill? Their district is tough, but they also have two softballs in Cedar Creek and Eastview and Bastrop and Hutto are in down years, so that leaves Elgin and Manor and MAYBE Connally as the ok teams, but Hutto will likely get better under Vanmeter as district approaches.

Cooper and Westlake might be the best teams you face till Leander and the finals.

Brennan and other SA teams from Northside ISD don't fair to well vs. Austin area teams, even going back to my time in the 80s. That game was not as close as the score (32-7) and Brennan only beat Vista Ridge, BARELY despite the Rangers giving them the ball 4 times in the first half they held on to win 31-28 and Vista Ridge was no where near CP or Leander in 25-4A. Brennan also plays in one of the WORST 4A districts in the state. I don't think Brennan is any better than Elgin or Manor.
