I think your computers spell check changed "ignorance" to "stones/balls". You might want to edit that. That's where you lose people cochino, you don't agree with someone then you start calling people ignorant. That's your problem. Again, the detox center is waiting, now go detoxify yourself!! You're amazing. Go back and read the comments. You started the name calling. But you're slick. I'll give you that. You wait until I retaliate and then you call me on it before I can first call you on it. Well it's not really that you are slicker. It's just that I could care less about being that "tattletale" kid that points out the mean things. lmao. You go teacher's pet.

Without seeing anyone play, it sounds like 31-4a will be an Alice/FB battle. 30-4a cal and Plc. With all the west hype and GP terrible outing along with VE, looks like top 5 in no order are Alice, FB, Cal, Plc and west/ray

FB is ready to play. Alice is tiny and saw a lot of weekness. GP is young and did ok but needs to get the kid out of the men size line. GP run d was good. East on D was bad. Offensively they will be dangerous .

With all the west hype and GP terrible outing along with VE, looks like top 5 in no order are Alice, FB, Cal, Plc and west/ray I just cant count GP out yet. They are a great program and I really see them fixing things up before all is said and done. Compared to FB of last year, no one thought a team who beat CC Carroll and CC King by a margin of less than 12 or so points would go on to beat Leander and make it 4 rounds deep. I believe GP will improve drastically through the season and make some noise in the playoffs. My top 5 in no particular order are PLC, FB, Calallen, GP, and Alice. If i could have a top 6, that spot would go to Ray.

My top 6 pick going into the season.
1.Flour Bluff(Have been on the rise as top team in the coastal bend and will continue it) 2.Calallen (Wildcats will be better this season, district title year)
3.Port Lavaca Calhoun( Sandcrabs will be good like they've been for past several season, good battle with Calallen but Wildcats comeout on top this time)
4.Gregory Portland (Good power running game led by a big back can open up the offense and wouldn't be surprise GP attempts to be more balance this season and they usually have a decent to good defense.)
5.Alice (Alice can score in bunches from what I've notice over the past few seasons and also have some games they don't play so well but should wrap up the no.2 spot in district)
6.CC Ray (Texans should put up the points again this season and might take half the season for its defense to be improve from last season, Sinton has a pretty good offense but they return only 1 offensive lineman from last season and push around the Texan line through out the scrimmage, a bit to easy so not a good test to see where Sinton is on the offense line.)
Good luck to all the 4a coastal bend teams this season. Anybody see a sleeper team not in this top 6? Victoria teams?

Offensively they will be dangerous . lmao. The only weakness Alice showed in the East scrimmage was an inability to consistently cover an all-state receiver on a 50 yard bomb. But go on and add to it. It's gonna make the trash talking so much sweeter after the Alice/GP game if Alice pulls it off.

My top five are:
1. PLC - I don't think I've ever seen an OL as big, quick and athletic as what PLC has this year, ever. But can they stop anyone? 2. FB - If they can get consistent, above average QB play, they have a good shot at playing in the Reg Finals. 3. Calallen - Defense will carry them again, if the offense can get it going, watch out! 4. Alice - Offense, offense, offense. They can score, defense will be the big question. 5. GP/VE/VW - Just need one of these guys to get consistent. If VW can step up on D, they will be the team here.

Top five
1 CALHOUN. - the o line and D line will dominate games. secondary is pretty good . Fast and athletic. Dont expect this to be a "time consuming. Eat up the clock offense" they will score fast ala sandcrabs 2011 .
2. Calallen. I base this only on tradition. Havent aeen or heard much.
3 FB. They are talented
4. Cc Ray. Just a guess again. Theu return a lot of kids and can put points up
5. Alice -why? Because if this holds true then my prediction of them going 8-2 is right

It's gonna make the trash talking so much sweeter after the Alice/GP game if Alice pulls it off.Β Look, as for Alice I don't know what to say. I haven't seen them, but I can tell you some of the best opinions of Calhoun that I have seen and heard are from those who are nuetral in their views and have seen them play. So I would guess that the best view points of Alice would be from a nuetral observer, and someone who has seen them play. Being who we are on the board hardly qualify us as nuetral and it's hard to give a fair opinion of a team if you are a die hard fan. One thing I can tell you about Calhoun that doesn't take nuetral observation, is the O line is big, strong and athletic. The best I have seen in 4A ball around here. The following three keys will be the Calhoun season *develop any kind of pass game *defense must hold up *stay healthy If Calhoun does those three things, no one on the coastal bend or valley will touch them. Doesn't take a nuetral observer to tell you that. Give me a break. What "neutral" people have been going to all these scrimmages and informing you? You are full of it. You just pull stuff out of your $#@.
