You cant tell me that the largest school starts at 1,700. When it is clear that there are 4a schools with bigger enrollment. How it was done: I took the enrollments from each team in the district added them all together divided by the # of schools in that particular district got the average Playoffs: took the 4 playoff teams from each district added the enrollments from those schools only divided by 4. got the average

I still going to disagree with you sorry. I'm not sure what you are disagreeing with here cujo. He simply added up the enrollments of each school (by district) and then divided by how many schools were in each district giving us an average enrollment for that district. I'd have to say that unless he made some sort of adding or division mistake, the numbers are exact according to published UIL enrollment numbers last provided. I used a calculator to eliminate errors. LOL

Districts 28 & 25 move to the top of the list for the playoff average. Its all about which schools in which districts make the playoffs. In those two it was the largest school in each dist took the top 4 spots.

In those two it was the largest school in each dist took the top 4 spots. Yes District 25 average was brought down by Marble Falls, Dripping Springs, and Vandagrift which is still considered a new school. So the top four are the largest schools. Leander Rouse may even go 5a with the next realignment. If not in 2015 then definitely in 2017. That school zone is the only one with the physical space to actually grow larger. Of course the Leander ISD could re-draw the lines keeping all 5 schools at the 4a level. LEANDER LEANDER ROUSE CEDAR PARK CEDAR PARK VISTA RIDGE VANDAGRIFT 5 of the 7 teams within District 25 4a are from the same school district!

If Rouse is going to move up to 5A by the next realignment, then they will need the numbers this Fall. Even if they did, it'd probably be short-lived. Seems like LISD wants to keep them all 4A since they're already planning a 6th HS.
