A 12,000-seat stadium? Their current stadium seats 21,000. (Technically not theirs, but they play there.) Pizza Hut Park is only filled for large playoffs and some small college playoffs. Frisco has 5 4A schools with two others under construction. Frisco doesn't like the super schools ideal, they try to keep all schools about the same size. The newest school is 3 A. Frisco is just exploding but is only half built out. I not sure if they will continue to use Pizza Hut. They already play 3 days a week, with the 2 stadiums.

Welcome to the forum! It is great to have a Centenial fan on the board. Hell yes you can contribute a lot to the conversations here! Will be great having another DFW area fan on here to add insight. Thank-you VERY much, I hope I can contribute.

That's very exciting! That will be about a half mile from my home. It will be maintained by the city. It will house the executive offices, at least 1 luxury hotel, restaurants and stores, also the cheerleaders and two other practice fields. Where in Frisco are they putting it up? It will be at Dallas North Tollway and Warren, very easy access!

Are they still going to use Memorial? Yes but Memorial has limited visitors seating. Centennial and Frisco High have too many fans. We only have 1 game there this year. Centennial has a Very large fan base.

Yall are getting an indoor stadium in 2016 right? Yes, they are calling the Complex Cowboy Plaza, not sure about the stadium. It will be covered!

Charlie, I just joined myself a week or two ago. Denton Guyer here. Anything I can do to bring insight to 4-5A to the board, let me know. My son has been a QB in the Guyer system (just gave it up on Monday to focus on baseball full time), so I know most of the coaches and kids, as well as Lake Dallas.

I certainly wish your son well in baseball! We play Lake Dallas this year, 1st I believe. How strong are they?

Lake Dallas will be down this year. They are very young and will be set up very nice for the future, but not so much this year. They will be rotating QB's. Dagen Heahn is a SO and has great potential, but is young, and he tends to get flustered easily. He is more of the passing threat. Josh Jackson is the athlete with great speed. Jr. Josiah Tauafa (DT) is a stud. I used to coach him in baseball. He's a surefire D1 prospect, as his 2 older brothers were. Overall, you guys should be able to handle them pretty well, especially it being first game of the season. They will improve as the year goes on, but I still think they struggle to make the playoffs. Also look out for a SO. named Keegen Brewer. He'll be in the slot and maybe some CB. He'll be one to watch for a few years.
