You're right Varmits.....I got my Missions and Vets mixed up and years too. LOL I just want the kids to build on what they were doing in the first half against Ray. Mims continues to bail them out and I hope that continues to work. I'm still looking for that Newcomer of the Year from last year to show what he did last year? And the WRs? ? Mims was making the passes on Friday but at least 6 drops?

That is why the starters played more of the game. I know that winning by almost 4 Touchdowns is a big win, but all of those Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams mistakes will spell the end of the playoffs against Leander or Alamo Heights.

TWO games to play before they need to worry about either of those teams. This game will give a little play back for the Seniors that were on the team too.

Since I didn't get to see or listen to the game, what types of mistakes were we making on D and special teams? I talked to Mims and he told me about the dropped passes. We have receivers that can catch. The Silver kid has some of the surest hands on the field...we need to use him more. He got hurt against Martin, but I think he is back.

One thing the Hornets need to remember about Mission's field is that the turf under the grass is hard and the cleats wont bite like they are used to. In 09 a lot of guys were slipping and sliding around. Need to adjust the footwear and remember to cut on the outside foot.

They were talking about him for years later. They couldn't stop him.
