Was the competition as good as last year? A lot of young teams going at it! Are they unstoppable? 😉😉😉

District was tougher due to better teams and realignment. One of the tougher districts in region 4 IMO. And Yes Calhoun is beatable, all teams are. But they can go to the regional finals and more if they play to potential and keep the one week at a time mindset.

Over the last 2 years, Calallen is the only one that has slowed us down. I believe we will score points enough to win every game, but we will need our defense to make some stops.

I think this team is better defensively, and offensively theyve put up similar numbers point wise to last season. Not as explosive tho

Elusive Qbs who look to throw downfield. Thats what scares me the most. Seems to be the biggest hurdle for the Defense. Got to figure out how to get them corraled and on the ground. Db cant cover forever.

Holding PLC to 17 is an accomplishment. Any passing offense would have won that game, in that game we did not have it. You guys beat us fair and square. It was ment to be and I'm sure the boys would like another game just as the game with FB. Match ups make the games and if the game was played tomorrow a different outcome may happen due to PLC injuries. This is a sad part of the game, but it is the game of football. Everyone has players dinged up this time of the year.

Injuries are key and if PC is to make a deep run we need to heal up hopefully we will be in a couple of weeks.

At least with PLC vs FB two CB teams won't be knocking each other out until the regional championship if they can get that far.

These two weeks off is a dounle edged sword . But with this groupof seniors, I think they will do fine with handling it.

That offense is plug and play. Y'all should be fine in that dept. I fully agree with this statement! The key to PLC winning the region is their D playing good, sound ball. Their offense is capable of scoring enough points without a doubt......the D is the difference maker. This year's D appears to be better then any they've fielded before.
