They can beat them... I think it'll be a close game not a beat down but they just need a w to get in the playoffs....

Having seen Calhoun play both Tuloso-Midway and Victoria West, it is not easy to figure how T-M vs. VW will end up. VW has some talented underclassmen -- sophomore Malcolm Peoples and junior Qualian Bryant, for example -- but I think that T-M's new coach, Brian Boone, is a good coach and a motivated person. Furthermore, T-M never quit against Calhoun.
T-M can win, I think, but it is tough to predict.

This a tough one to pick. I would like to see both teams make the playoffs, but only one can. I go with the home team by 1.
VW 35 TM 34

I think one of these teams has been over hyped all year and one of them under hyped... Will the real playoff team please stand up!

If games go as expected, there could be a three way tie for the last playoff spot. VW has to beat TM by 13 pts to make playoffs (district tiebreaker) TM beat VE 49-20 VE beat VW 54-48
District Standings: TM - (+18) VW - (-6) VE - (-12)

I think only 12 because n he case of a tie it would revert to head to head. That is also assuming there are no other upsets along the way...

Well having been in a tie breaker situation for a playoff spot the actual rules are you can only go up to +10 or down to -10 so if you blow out a team it's still only +10 for the points difference or -10 for the difference so TM has +10 ve has -4 and VW has -6 so they would be at 0 if VW beats TM by 6.. Then tie breaker #2 takes place.... And that is determined by the district guidelines for football..

i think it depends on what the district sets the positive pt total at- i don't believe it is standard across the board...

VW easily. VW put up 375 yards against Calallen. Calhoun only managed 300. TM can't stop VW offense. West defense wil put up enough to stop TM. West has the offense. Nobody can stop them. Not counting them out against TM. Calallen said West hadnt seen a defense like theirs. Then we put up more points and yards than anybody else. If West defense can make a few stops (Props to you Coach Perez) the game shouldn't be close...
