I'm glad to see that Flour Bluff and Calhoun are still getting respect in the statewide polls. Both teams are having great seasons!

I don't like the fact that Rider didn't drop below PLC after last week. I also don't agree with where PLC is in DC or Coaches poll. Overall though, I think the coaches poll looks the best if only PLC were in the top 10 or 11 teams. No way to do I believe Brennan is a better team then PLC at this point or FB. They are pretty solid defensively with some outstanding athletes but their offense is anemic!

Frankly the AP guy giving FB one vote over and over is cracking me up. That is one hard core Hornet fan.........no, ain't me I don't get a vote. It's still just a lot of name recognition IMO. But, it is nice to get some love. Guys just have to keep it up and prove it now.

Besides respect is earned and the FB kids need to continue going into every game like it's their last one.

They need to have a chip on their shoulders and win these last three games decisively. Smooth out the mistakes and fire on all cylinders.

I wonder how many AP voters know that JT Barrett's out for the season -- they're clearly not the same team without him.

Speaking of out for the season, we lost Guyer alum JW Walsh for the season up here in OkieSt. Hell no one knew he was hurt and then it came across the wire and on facebook that he was out of the season.

Do they still play football in Okie Land? Did you watch the Red River Rivalry? I'd say yes, but mostly with Texas talent.

Saw it first on a Tweet from the Denton R-C sportswriter. I thought he was out for a few weeks but not the season.

That Northside Brennan thing on the AP poll is really annoying. Prefixes were made to identify where a school is at and most people won't know where "Northside" is. That could be anywhere! They are in San Antonio so it should be "San Antonio Brennan". Ok. Rant over.
