I'll take the Antlers in a good, close game.
28-24
This should be for all the marbles.

Alamo Heights has a good QB and a few good receivers. This could get interesting but I believe Tivy will persevere. TFND ![/img]

This will our toughest game until the playoffs no doubt. If there is any team that has our number it would be AH. All the respect goes to the mules, they always game plan us very well. This should be a close hard fought game until the end. I hope we pull it out.

I think Coach Jones might be able to beat Heights. His style is different than Coach Smith's. I'm not saying that's good or bad. I'm just saying it's different. TFND !

I like what I am seeing from the new coach Buddha.
It will be interesting to see if the Antlers can continue to improve.

The only common opponent has been Boerne Champion. AH Defense posted a shutout in a 24-0 win. Tivy gave up 14 points in a 27-14 win. The AH Defense also just posted a 35-0 shutout of Kyle Lehman last week. In between the two shutouts, AH gave up 32 in a close win over Seguin, 39-32. With that it looks like the AH Defense is a bit saltier than Tivy, but Tivy is no Lehman or BC either. That put's a lot of pressure on the Tivy QB to make things happen. Should be a good game and most likely will come down to which Defense can get the stops and which team makes the fewest mistakes.

CC. AH and BC played in a pouring rain storm which may have put a little different spin on the game. BC only scored the last TD against Tivy in final minutes of the game when Tivy was up by 3 scores and just running out the clock.
I am not taking anything away from AH because they have had our number the last few times we have played them.
It will be interesting.

Good luck to our Antlers tonight its a big game and hopefully we will show up to play. The kids were really jacked up to play BC last week, so I hope they dont come out flat. It will be a tough game for Tivy.

Good luck to our Antlers tonight its a big game and hopefully we will show up to play. The kids were really jacked up to play BC last week, so I hope they dont come out flat. It will be a tough game for Tivy. If they come out flat, they'll lose. I picked Tivy to win even though when comparing both teams in their performances against Champion. I saw AH on TV earlier this year and Tivy in person against Steele and Madison. At that point in the year I would have taken AH by 21+. Now, I think it is truly a toss up game and whoever makes the least mistakes and executes the best will win. IMO, the winner is going to be the district champ. AH has done very well in the past against Tivy but this is a new year and both teams sport new head coaches so it is anybody's game. I think AH has the better defense and Tivy has the better offense and usually I pick the team with the better defense but I just have a feeling the Antlers step up their game tonight! Good luck to both and most important........stay healthy!
