Saw both Hangover 1 & 2. #2 is a bit darker in Bangkok and more nudity but not of the feminine persuasion...well at least the lower half wasn't? Camera pics are a blast at the end again. #3 is in the planning stages. I saw all the latest biggies: X-Men, Pirates, Super 8. My family and I thought X-Men was the best of all 3. Super 8 was suspenseful and good storyline. Pirates was a great movie. Looking forward to Transformers 3 and Green Lantern as well as Captain America. I guess I am the ONLY Harry potter nerd on this board. WOW. Well can't hide it now I'm out of the closet. it is what it is look and stare at the Harry potter nerd everyone. You are not alone! lol. Count me among the HP nerds, as well.

Saw Super 8 at the Imax last night.
It was good, but not great. Sort of a cross between Predator and the Goonies. The later being another Speilburg movie.
Looking forward to the new Transformers and Captian America.

Last decent move was True Grit. The John Wayne version.

That being said I will redbox it when it comes out.

My wife and all three sons read all of the books and saw all of the movies. I went along and enjoyed the movies, but I am not an avid follower nor have I read any of the books. Yes, my wife has already warned me that we are going when it comes out next month. It is right after her birthday, so gotta make that sacrifice and put a big deposit in the emotional bank account (Franklin Covey).

Super 8 is also set in 1979 which was not too far removed from when the Goonies was released. Fashion, talk, music, etc . Predator- The Alien creature made similar sounds and disposed of his victims in similar way. Yea, this would have been a Redbox or Netflix for me, but I got out voted... Kinda, sorta if you know what I mean.

I didn't see the first one so that's ok. Maybe I'll see some faces in the street scenes that look like some of my shipmates from the last time we pulled in there for liberty. I almost forgot about the Cowboys vs. Aliens coming out the end of July. Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford. The Green Lantern did not make the money the studio was hoping for. Thor did better in its opening weekend.

Count me among the HP nerds, as well. me too. I read the first 4 books about 10 years ago, but never read the rest. About a month ago, my wife ordered the whoe set for my daughter and I reread the first 4 and read the final 3. After that I ordered all the movies on blu-ray through Army Europe Libraries. We have watched all of them except Deathly Hallows part 1. We will probably watch it this week and then wait for part 2 to hit the Army theatres, which is usually 2 or 3 weeks afer the states.

AAFES-Europe has improved. It used to take 2-3 months or more before the movies hit the AAFES Theaters. I was last there in 1996. 1983-1984 in Wurzburg. 1992-1996 in Hanau.
