I remember yall were building snowmen on the beach a few years back and we didn't have enough here to scrape off my windshield to make a snowball to throw at my kids. lol

We're pretty sure it was from Calallen screaming at the sky after they lost to Flour Bluff for the first time in donkey's years.

We're pretty sure it was from Calallen screaming at the sky after they lost to Flour Bluff for the first time in donkey's years. We had over 6 inches here in Calallen with the 2004 Christmas snow and out towards the Lake, almost a foot fell. Dec 2017 we had another three inch snow event. I think it actually snowed more on the southside and the island This current cold snap is the coldest since 1989 and might challenge some all time records. Looks like mid teens out here in Calallen , Single digits in San Antonio, some places in the Hill Country are going to dip below zero. Snow and ice might stick around for a few days and we get to do it all over again on Wednesday night. Plumbers will be working 24/7..... Landscapers who usually get busy in the Spring will certainly have bonus work now.... Landscape suppliers and nurseries will be in overdrive as long as they can refill their inventories from Florida and California because some of the Texas nurseries will take a hit.

20 here now with wind chill approaching 0. dry though right now. quite a bit of ice on everything from earlier including the cattle.
I dont think we will hit single digits here tonight like predicted. I am betting 10-12....and that is vold enough the way the wind is still blowing
