Good evening for a drink. Started with a Sam Adams Oktoberfest and then a Doppelbock. Finally tried the Santo Saint Arnold and it is wicked good. Almost done with number 2.

Well, I got off work early so I ventured up to Specs in League City. Bought a case of beer. Here are the four Six-Packs:
1. Samuel Adams Latitude 48 IPA 2. Saint Arnold Santo 3. Leinenkugel's Sunset Wheat 4. Blue Moon Summer Honey Wheat
Going in that order. The SA L 48 IPA is great!

It went down great last night, but I felt it this morning.

It went down great last night, but I felt it this morning. It was a good night of beverage tasting. I like Sam Adams, and the Lat 48 IPA was very good with a nice kick. The Fruity Pebbles description was spot on for the whiff from the Leinenkugel Sunset Wheat, but the flavor was smooth and not fruity. The Santo was a strange brew just like the packaging looks like a "Voodoo" skeleton on it. The jury is still out on the Santo. Might have to drink that alone to really evaluate it. The Blue Moon Summer Honey Wheat was very smooth. I like a little more full bodied flavor. Good to drink though. I had no effects this morning, but I apparently sleep taled to my job in the night as I do not recall any of the conversations I apparently had around 11 PM after going to bed. Slept great and feel good this morning.

I was in Beer heaven last night. Made a trip to the Spec's Warehouse World Headquarters in downtown Houston after dining at the infamous Ninfa's on Navigation. Had a Negra Modelo with dinner. It was a good dark beer. Tried a Clown Shoes Brown Angel Double Brown Ale. Nice hand-crafted beer. Great flavor and the right kick. I forgot to look for that Birra Moretti La Rossa one that Blasto tried. Looked for the strongest beer in the world, Kulmbacher EKU 28, but they were all out of stock. I edumicated some Spec's clerks on beers. I think I would enjoy working there or in Boston Beer Company Brewery (Samuel Addams). Cheers!
