83 take my advise you need to let go of the portland leagues and go select and get that kid exposed some of them gpers are not going to get off their @@@ and get a team that will play year around btw the baseball team has a team in the carroll fall league theres also many of teams in the cc area that always looking for talent. He's been asked to try out for RBA's 16U team and we may look at that...problem is $$$ Cant go wrong with that choice yeah i feel you I been there done that, good thing about coach will he'll work with you. THE BEST HITTING INSTRUCTOR IN THIS AREA BY FAR good luck in his up coming high school career lets hope is talents arent wasted as others have. You have a ball player there.

The question of the day is...where is Bucey going to play in high school?? The kid has a great arm, great control, and three good pitches and could develop into a very good high school pitcher. I'm sure he will follow in the steps of those before him...Schieble, Flores, de los Santos....and leave T-M for greener pastures...much to Davila's dismay. He lives in the Carroll district so... If his Dad wants him to play varsity as a freshman, then he might not go to Carroll and opt out for JPII instead. Carroll has a very stong group of sophs (Cantu, Benavides, Pineda, Flores, Lira...) this year to replace some of the kids that left last year and will be leaving this year.

Next yr i see more jr's starters than sr's just becasue of the talent we will have in the the jv level

De Los Santos went to JPII.
Schieble is a an OF with power and speed...I'd be surprised if he isn't brought up. Hell, he is tall enough to play first now. With Austin and the others y'all should have plenty of depth.

Where does UT have Wyatt pegged to play? That is if he doesn't get drafted high enough to to straight to pro. I would think they might not want him pitching too much or playing behind the plate unless they are looking at him as a catcher. I wonder if Humpal is going to play behind the plate for the Bluff this year much or if he is just going to mainly pitch. Mendiola had a good run behind the plate when he was a freshman and we have our soph Monette to back him up. I hear Texas State was really impressed with the potential they have with Humpal as a pitcher.

Yeah UT has told wyatt he be the starting catcher next season, unless he goes high in the draft, and his dad will make that choice for him, as far as humpal he might pitch for tex. state but he not throwing no 90 as some people have said, i'm no scout but i havent seen too many in this area toss that, Hawkins maybe and wyatt has hit that mark at times

and as for the transfers do they have to sit out a year if their old coach dont sign them off? i heard Davila wasn't happy at all about the Derek leaving...was actually pretty nasty about it when Cal played T-M in JV football so I don't think he will be signing off. D will get some JV pitching in then which will be good for him...

I know he was in the upper 80's at times then though. It all depends if he got a coach to get that last 3-4 mph out of him. His hook was coming along pretty good last year as well. We were always going to put a gun on our four freshmen pitchers last year, but never did. We have two lefties and two righties that love to compete against each other in that class...it will be fun to watch them develop.

CB25, when are the new indoor batting cages going to be ready? well we haven't had a meeting in a while which reminds me we need to kick off the season here quickly, any how we are building a 5000 sq ft which will include a club house and new indoor batting cages, the club house will have a dressing room for the boys, a office for our coaches and a dressing room for the umpires. (a closet for my rake and broom lol jk) i cant wait for the day our boys move in. We are praying to be completed in Jan.'12 The only thing missing will be renaming our filed to CHAPMAN FIELD which I hope we table that very soon. I can give them three great reason we should rename it, 2000, 2005, 2008.
