At Alice's field and against Moody's ace...ain't gonna happen. The Coyotes will be held to 3 runs or less.

My dad tells me once Kenneth settles in, he's pretty tough to hit. Other than a loss to a mighty carroll squad, I'd say Moody has been playing some consistent ball so far this year. They had a good win against what I think is a highly underrated FB squad, and gave Calallen all they could handle. Alice is good, but I still like my Trojans in this one.

If Saenz pitches for Moody, there is no way Alice can win by 4 runs. They won't even be able to score 4 runs against Moody. He held your mighty Calallen bats to 3 runs with double-digit strikeouts! How the heck do you expect Alice to score 7 runs off of Saenz? My son played with Kenny for 3-4 years. If Kenny makes it through the first 3 innings, he gets really tough. If you can get to him early, he will get in trouble and get yanked. Carroll did that to him at Whataburger and Moody had a reliever warming up for him against Cal, but he made it through a rough inning and just got better and better. I think Alice will put the ball in play...especially after their practice this week! I don't think so. I've seen Kenneth get into trouble against tougher teams. Last year against Boerne champion, he struggled a lot in the first few innings. Corky stayed with him, he kept Moody in the game which they eventually won.

Tougher teams no doubt...tougher places to play...idk?

Alice actually held Calallen to 2 hits while Moody only held them to 4. Granted Alice was playing at home and Moody on the road.

JD we only had 1 and Alice had 2 great outting by both Arrevlo and Oliver. only because the coach didnt P/R for Duplantis on the 2B by Perez or Alice scores from 1st to H.

I wonder why they didn't pitch run for Duplantis. I know Alice has a lot of speedy kids. You would think they would move one up just for that purpose...kinda like Carroll did with their freshman, Zach Alaniz. We played several tournaments with a bunch of those sophomore kids from Alice in the valley...the kids and parents both are a good bunch of people and a lot of fun to play with.

Why would Alice move the game? Too much rain yesterday? Giving up home field advantage to Moody is HUGE.
