Stay classy, dude.

At least my question was legit...I mean who, besides the Al-mighty Cal Allen Mildcats, keeps stats just from the start of when the team finally started winning? Your failed attempt at a retaliatory reply went drama queenish...nobody mention Tony but you.

A legit question would have been, "Why is it only back to 1983?". You would have received some reasonable and legit responses. But troll along....

I think what 87 was trying to get to you is no one is hiding our past records and the late Tony R had it all (meaning all sports , boys and girls) on his database that was unfortuanley lost when he passed away. Some schools (like yours) were better at keeping records back in the day where as others didn't (or presently don't) do a good job mainly because they didn't have a solid record of accomplishment worth noting, nor a dedicated fan base with people willing to take on the time consuming task . Tony R did his best to create that source and I believe people like Cat Fan Forever tried their best to salvage it and if it had been accessible, then this would be a non issue. Which quite frankly it should not be in the first place.

Truth of the matter is that when it comes to baseball records, Tony got his information from me - which I built from scratch using the records Chapman had. I have attempted to put together the baseball scores from pre-Chapman era but most of the sources I have searched have come up short and I just don't have the free time to really dig (like Ray Hanna did when researching the football records pre-Danaher).
Last year I did stumble across the Calallen baseball coach during the 1982 season - Connie Cochran (now at Leander and a 500+ game winner) - he told me that the 1982 team was 22-9 and tied Robstown for the district title but lost to them in a one game playoff. He coached Catfromwayback. I have not included that in the stats yet as I need game by game results.
Baseball stats are not as well kept in Texas as football records so my research continues.
As for the psycho case from across the bridge - he said in another thread the Calallen fans were obsessed with GP - I think he has proven once and for all who the truly obsessed person is - and he needs help or at least his meds need to be upped.

Did Connie know anything about the missiles CFWB sent across 624 back then?

We have hired a few people whose wives derailed their employment plans after 6 months to a year of living in Corpus. After my first couple of years living here I was looking to leave - but then I met my future wife, moved out to Calallen and actually started to like living here...and the rest is history

After my first couple of years living here I was looking to leave - but then I met my future wife, moved out to Calallen and actually started to like living here...and the rest is history Same story here. After going to college locally, I wanted nothing more of the area and wanted to move upstate like to the Hill Country. Meeting a local gal can change that real quick. I like it here and will probably be here until my youngest goes through the school system which means another 12 years here for sure. Corpus and the Coastal Bend has some exciting things that are going to happen and real soon too. The Eagle Ford Shale and related industries are going to see to that unless outside forces screw things up. You can just see the out of state plates with newbies moving to area around the Calallen area for one. The old guard who has kept the area from moving forward is retiring, or to be blunt, dying off and is being replaced with more forward thinking people.
