Bambi will appreciate the food and she will appreciate it more if you leave your guns at home this next deer season.

Bambi needs rain. 37 if there was no hunting in texas the deer population would grow out of control and starvation would kill the deer . Quality and size of the deer will dwindle. This has already been proven in miss managed high fence areas. So hunting is a good thing and a tasty thing also! Yum Yum

Had intended to be there but woke up with a summer cold and did not do squat Sunday but sit on the couch and feel sorry for myself, watch sports and nap. GPJ that is the second time you have been in FB country with a maroon shirt on. Begining to think you are seeing the light. Once is a coinky dink, twice is a sign.

Is it best to use a rope or a chain to hang an engine from the limb of a tree in my backyard with? I can't just leave it on the come-a-long, because my wife needs it for her clothesline.

It is best to haul around the engine in the back of your pickup or El Camino until you decide what to do with the engine.

Leave her in the pick up bed at least until the Craigs List add times out on you. Don't want to have to wrestle that greasy pig twice if you can just sell it with only loading and unloading it once.

It's a Ford engine, but I figure I can make some kind of adapter plate motor mount. Will start working on it as soon as I get my lawnmower fixed so I can mow the yard. Dang grass is getting so high the ole lady can't even find the washing machine anymore.

Buff, how was the meet-up like? Also, how many fish did you catch? It was just myself, gpjohn, and Maroon87.....but we had a great time meeting one another. The fishing was excellent Saturday evening and we ended up with about 50 keepers for the weekend and they were good ones. Out of the 50, only about 10-12 were less than 17"-18". We had way over 20 of them over 20". We did not catch any BIG ONES though as our biggest was right at 24". Here's a pic of Sat & Sunday's catch.
