It will pick up again, now that we're in the same district. I just wish we could drop the Victoria schools and have Alice and the Bluff back in our district, just like the good 'ol days! Yeah, Bluff and Alice being partitioned away is stupid.

If the CCISD's would move up by request like they could and should and TM drops down due to London ISD loses thanks to their new high school, then maybe we'll be back together in one happy family with the Vic Schools and PLC in the picture too. Of course that is if the UIL doesn't do the 6A option and mess with the number allocations.

I like playing the superior athletes the Vic's bring and someday maybe beating East. Every time my son plays Alice, it's the only game he plays all year in which he misses the next 1-3 games....they're not only in it to just win scoreboard, and is why, along with CPA's obsession towards GP, I do not root for them.

I don't like our chances in the O12 rematch once again. Major tweaking will have to be done. I just hope this isn't one of those seasons where people blow us up for big things and they don't meet those expectations. Last two years have been a welcomed surprise. Both years old Cal fans told me they had a lot of concerns about our well drying up. D and his assistants have done their best coaching in these few years. IMO I hear you, but I think the well has plenty of water in it to go. The incoming Freshmen will be a special group

Too funny!!! I know a few GP season ticket holders that refuse to sit by a certain GP poster on this cite. Oops, I mean site. had to comment: I would like to know who? Second, our area has fun and loves to chant and give high fives after the scores. The same people for over 10 plus years has set together so your comment is either ridiculously false out of hate or you have no idea who I am.

Leave CPA alone. Poor guy gets no back up from his Alice peeps.

IMO Our offense will be strong if we gel an O line together, and start hitting passes...spring training our passing game was a HUGE let down. Our defense kind of reminds me of PLC's two years ago...very small...but quick. Losing Travis Geiser to baseball only will hurt us and Erwin may be pulled to WR only....so our returning 9 defensive starters just dwindled to 7.

The incoming Freshmen will be a special group This years seniors was our special group and I'm just not seeing the dominance they did when freshman. Coaching changes had alot to do with it. I don't care if a new coach goes in and doesn't radically change things off the bat as far as playbook, most high school and even college programs under perform in that first year unless the new coach is promotion from the old staff. Or the team is returning a championship calieber team virtually intact and the talent is there to overcome tweaks in the system. Or wisely the new Coach sees what he has and just rolls with it until he gets a entirely new group of kids. Lake Travis is one of the few teams I've seen to not skip a beat. But look at the others like Southlake Carrol, Judson, etc who took a hit almost right away after a change and that was inspite of talent from top to bottom. Things that on paper don't show up such as coaching personalities and how they relate to the players sometimes take time to evolve, especially if a new staff is brought in can also upset the balance so to speak.

HS: Pathetic to root against anyone IMO. Just don't care enough about them to have so much hate. College: Ohio State, Oklahoma, Florida and USC Pro: Pats, Denver, Eagles. OMG, how did I forget the Eagles and Steelers! LMAO Hey, Boog any reason specific for rooting against Denver? I've always liked the Broncos.....mostly because of Elway I guess.

I think with LT, the program stays the same, the driver just takes over. Crazy how awesome that program is. We have been lucky to have consistency. GP imo has struggled with that and it has taken its toll. They need to develop some QBs for that system or it becomes one dimensional. And if you are going to be that, might as well stay in the Wing.

I'm a Raiders fan, also, they broke a lot of Houston Oiler hearts. I could not stand Elway. Always wanted someone to get a good lick on him, but he'd always escape.
