This isn't high school. lol Most that I know of who have had dalliances with undergrads were NOT their instructors at the time. Major CYA.

Anytime a person with authority over another has a "dalliance" it's wrong.

Again, those I know of have waited until after the course was over or even later down the road. Still, I have to believe it has an impact on how some things are graded objectively. I'm sure there are some that happen while, but I think it isn't as prevalent as one would speculate. I think where you see a lot of messing around is between RAs and Professors. Spend a lot of time outside the office doing work together.
