That was a stellar performance of "My Little Buttercup". He probably shouldn't quit his day job, though. definitely not he loves to mess with my son, probably because he's quite possibly the most immature 17 year old ever! if they smile or laugh it's a mistake and they pay for it dearly. my son said it was pretty hard to tune him out singing in his ear like that but he kept his composure. That's a good perspective Mom. Thanks. I would have been in trouble laughin my ---off!! LOL!

Well.......no wonder Calallen cannot win a state title in football........................they are doing a boot camp when everyone else is practicing football! exactly! Actually, the Calallen Boot Camp is why we beat GP in the playoffs. They were too tired and out of shape when it counted.

Not only did they keep it through November they improved. The Boot Camp allows the coaching staff to weed out the players who do not understand the importance of conditioning. Keeping yourself in shape shows that you are disciplined, which is one of the reasons Calallen has been winning for over 25 years, and why other teams in the area struggle.

All teams have juice in the 1st quarter/September, but only the well conditioned still have the juice in the 4th quarter/play-offs. This fact is what seperates Calallen from all other scholls in the area.

I really like what's going on over here. Itll be interesting to see a new look GP....this new coach certainly brings different things to the table, new anyways. Will see how they do. Im gonna play the bad guy for a second and ask this question 83'.... If GP flops out of.the gate, which is possible , especially given a new system being implimented. Will the GP faithful demand his job as they did to Harris?... They say its tough to come home and coach. Soza in Alice amd now Anastacio* in GP...

All the GP faithful I have seen express an opinion have been optimistic but realistic about a new HC getting his program up and running. To expect otherwise would be unreasonable.

I don't think so and I honestly don't think we'll "Flop". There's so many changes coach A has implemented and he has this towns support. Coach Harris was a laid back and let his staff do most of the work. Coach A is an in your face, hard work pays off and attention to detail kind of guy. He let's nothing get by him and there's repercussions for bad habits. It's a night and day difference. Our boys look much bigger and stronger than last year. We tackle the entire practice, which I've never seen that done, and to include the QB's. But lets say we "Flop", I say minimum 3 years to build the best team South of Lake Travis. My son is one of the 8th grade QB's and even he comments how much more fun he's having with this offense. People are really excited here and everyone I've talked with is behind him. We had I bet over 500 standing on the practice field, watching the scrimmage yesterday, with the band, cheerleaders and run-through. We had a blast yesterday.
