Nancy Sinatra -- These Boots Are Made for Walkin' When I use to hear that song, I'd think Nancy Sinatra and those legs. Now I think of Full Metal Jacket. What is wrong with me?

Instantly a classic the minute he released it IMO! Possibly the best I know you've all seen it but watch it again and ENJOY"In little towns - that's all they got" Never a truer line in a song. I grew up in a relatively small football town in Texas and all we lived for was Friday's nights. My wife always comments, "I hate this town, all they have is football." My response is, "You are correct honey, but this is Texas. And in Texas you can have everything else, but if you don't have football, then you don't have anything."

john denver............................thank god i am a country boy Remembering the good ole days. Girlfriend wanted to go see John Denver in San Antonio at the Hemisphere Arena. We went at about $20 a ticket (that was huge in those days). My buddies made fun of me for months. They talked me into going to see The Doobie Brothers in Abilene the following week those tickets were about $8 a piece. Back up for John Denver was "The Starland Vocal Band". How many of you remember them? Back up for Doobie Bros. was "Black Oak Arkansas". They were the best of the four.

Iron Butterfly -- In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida In the garden of life. Sweet. One of the best songs ever. The psychedelic rock era. Edited down from the 17-minute full length song.
