Still waiting for your resume home slice...? What did you do for the Trojans? You a pee wee glory hound? Let me guess, you are all madden on madden? Your trophy room full of peewee participation trophies? Madden trophies you bought? Fantasy league trophies? I bet you got Jerry Jones on speed dial too on Sundays don't you to tell him what McCarthy needs to do to get results for the Cowboys? Steve Sarkisian too for the Horns? Soza would coach circles around you. It's ok, he coaches circles around a lot of dudes including Bomar. Go to your safe place buddy and snuggle your feelings Blanky... it's ok... Soza don't care about your feelings... Thank you. I've known Chris most of my life. He's been a winner both on and off the field his whole life. As a player, coach, husband, father and an overall good person. In his first gig as head coach, he took a losing Mathis program, turned them around and took them to the state finals. His 2nd gig at Beeville, he turned that program around as well. The people at Beeville didn't want to lose him to Alice, so they offered to match Alice's salary and buy him an automobile. Soza wanted to retire in Alice. He built a home there, but like you said earlier, he couldn't be bought off by the schoolboard and a sorry excuse for a superintendent. He kicked 5 starters off the team for discipline reasons and still made the playoffs. Those 5 kids went to Ben Bolt, and when they lost in the playoffs, they trashed the opposing teams locker room. When he was fired at Alice before the season, he didn't have to coach, but he chose to do so anyway. He told his assistant coaches that they should find employment elsewhere and basically coached the team himself. He went to Medina Valley and turned that team around with little talent, competing in a tough district with Alamo Heights, Tivy, Lockhart etc and made the playoffs. Beeville offered him the moon to come back there to coach. The folks in Medina Vally didn't want him to go. If I had a son and they had to go to China to play a football game, I would know he would be in good hands with Soza! Yep he's a top notch dude. I know I can call him up still today and ask him for help and he'd help me out. I haven't worked for him in 20 years, but he'd be there to help. People don't get its not always about the W's, it's about the life lessons too.... not only do you get W's from Soza, but you get life lessons too... even as a coach on his staff. That's why he was also the president of the Texas High School Coaches Association more than once.... Coaches respect the heck out of him!

Let's see going back and looking at the years... I remember the years.
'20- injury bug hit them. They also had Calallen, Miller, PLC, Alice, an improved TM, and a tough Canyon Lake, and Boerne on the schedule.. Besides TM, what game should have been won? Which game could you have coached them to a victory?
'21- a dang good FB, a good VW, A good Somerset, Calallen, Miller, and PLC, and lost in round 2 to a salty Pleasanton team... again what game should they have won? Which game could you have gotten a victory by coaching them?
'22- good Somerset team, Cuero, PLC, La Vernia, Pleasanton, Calallen... which one should they have won? Which one could you have coached them to victory?
It's not like they are playing the schedule TM played this year. They are playing a dang tough schedule every year. You want padded stats? Go elsewhere. That's not Soza. 7-3 is pretty dang good with dealing with injuries.

Thanks for that, I was about to point that out myself. You saved me time. All that history does my boys no good . Bottom line is the record over the last 4 seasons ( 19-24 ) . No problem here with anyone . Facts and current records don’t lie . We should not pay exorbitant amounts of money with no results in the last 4 years . We do not get compensated monetarily for what we did 5, 10 , 15 and 20 years ago . Done talking about this ; but facts are facts and the numbers the last 4 seasons don’t lie . Yes ; he’s done great things in the past ; but I wasn’t talking about his past ; just the last 4 years my boys were here we 19-24 . You went from stating how great he had done here then when presented out facts want to say we have no talent and basically bash the kids . Go to China then . Argue among yourselves all you want - facts are facts and numbers don’t lie . #99 out . I never stated that you didn't have any talent. I asked you to tell us how many kids from Beeville the last 4 years are playing at any level in college. It is a simple question that you obviously are not going to answer for a reason. So, you think that all of a sudden Soza has forgotten how to coach or just doesn't care??? Is that it???

Beeville had a garbage history before Soza got there in 2004. He turned Beeville into a legit South Texas power and now you think you deserve to have an elite team every year. You don't. You're Beeville. You aren't loaded with the amount of talent that you seem to think you are. I don't know what happened versus La Vernia and Pleasanton but you do have wins this season versus more talented Sinton, Somerset and Port Lavaca programs and that's because of great coaching.

So 19-24 over the course of the last 4 seasons and one playoff win over that same time period is considered greatness . I’m in the wrong profession . I should have been a coach . Yes ; my expectations were higher than 19-24 . No matter who the coach is or was . These kids do have talent. A lot of talent to tell you the truth over these last 4 seasons. It’s a moot point with you all though as you still don’t want to face the facts and the numbers ( 19-24 over last 4 seasons; 1 playoff win over last 4 seasons ). I wish my profession let me be successful 19 out of 43 times. Facts, numbers , records and stats don’t lie . The talent is there and has been there so do not go there. Go Trojans and beat Calallen . Please .

I asked a pretty easy question of you that I'm certain you should know being you had kids in this program the last 4 years and yet you have managed not to provide an answer. I'll ask one more time. How many kids that graduated from Beeville HS in the last 4 years are playing football on Saturdays? I'm not asking how many are playing at Alabama, Texas, LSU, or any other top program or even a power 5 or FBS school. How many are playing somewhere?

Again in these last 4 years what games besides TM were they supposed to win? They had a brutal schedule... Beeville talent is not as abundant as Smithson Valley or Cibolo Steele talent.
I was privileged to coach what I believe to be the most talented group Beeville has ever had there. Brian Bonner (TCU/Chargers), Cooper Dickerson(TCU), Ryan Kennedy(SMU/Bears), Spencer Chaisson (Blinn), Austin Kremers (Trinity), KC Hamilton (UH track), Derek Randall (UH track), Brandon Mack (Tyler Juco), Edward Ortega (TAMUK).. They only went 11-2 in their best season. Ran into Del Valle in the region semis that was record wise not nearly as good, but talent wise was just as good, but faster in every position. That was a long day for us in the dome.
So if you're telling me that Beeville has multiple NFL caliber players again, and multiple D1 players again, and so forth, and have for 4 years, and 19-24 is all Soza has done with them ok I'll listen to you. I know that's not the case though, because he would have wrecked Calallen with that kind of talent, as well as anyone else in his path.
