Navarro and Wimberly is always a good match up. Yes it is Something tells me this one wont be that close though. Navarro is always tough but i do not think they have the horses to run with em this year

What usually does them in is themselves. They tend to get upset at times when things look like they're punching a ticket to Jerryworld I agree. I don't see them going to state, but they should win region IV. Agree completely They will have to improve defensively to beat R3 rep!!

Navarro is always tough but i do not think they have the horses to run with em this year What saves them is that slot t offense they run... it keeps the clock running. That's what keeps that potent Wimberly Offense off the field for long periods of time. I agree Wimberly will dominate them, but that offense will help them not be completely embarrassed. The scoreboard may likely read similar to Alice v Calallen because opportunity to score is limited.

These games will start deciding the playoff seeding. Seeding ain’t gonna matter. its gonna be Wimberley in the semis. There isn’t another team in R4 at their level unfortunately

R4 has Wimberley written all over it yhis year. I dont see anyone beating them Wimberly could compete for the IV-1 region title. They're very good and I don't see any team in IV-2 that will be able to hang with them. Wimberley is the only team so far that’s given Comal Pieper a loss. Liberty Hill will get the last crack at Pieper on Friday night. There’s some really good final district games to determine district champions and playoff seedings.

Navarro is always tough but i do not think they have the horses to run with em this year I had a chance last year after the playoffs were over to talk to my nephews who play for Wimberley. I asked them how their game with Carthage and what they got out of that matchup. This was the last high school game for the older nephew while the other nephew has one more year to play. They both knew all about Carthage and their history in Texas football. They knew they were about to play a great team and saw all the video and had a detailed gameplan for the game. They both told me they just couldn’t compete well with a team that is loaded top to bttm with outstanding athletes. Even with full knowledge of what to expect they just couldn’t match the speed of that team and they tried to adjust but in the end they just got beat by a much better physical team.
