Yoe is 1-5 and 0-2 in District. They may lose one more but they have several teams with losing records ahead. Rick better start winning or those Yoe fans are getting impatient.

Rick better start winning or those Yoe fans are getting impatient. Like GP did I think Coach Rick Rhoades retired for one year and came back and is elgible to draw retirement and pay check and double dip. His hire at GP may have been a agreement to protect the jobs and retirement of Coach George Harris holdovers. We will never know the fraud and squandering of athletics at GP during that period. DR. Paul Clore gave Coach Rick Rhoades 5 years and then he retired. It takes a village to keep athletics going the wrong direction.

I watch GP every week and they Just flat out did not play to their potential. Missed blocks, missed assignments and just a cluster. They just seemed unprepared to play that night.

And if you are not a little worried about GP after last night, I would be. EE is terrible and GP struggled with them. I keep hearing GP is improved over last year but where is the proof of that? They should be with what they brought back and probably are on the defensive side but even you and other GP posters need to recognize the offense is NOT.

EE came out with desperation football and tried everything to try to keep their hopes alive to get into the playoffs. Fake punts, squib kick to a GP player with a history of fumbling. Midway into 2nd Qtr the penalty count was GP 8 EE 1. Harrison ran back a pick 6 and out come the flag again with no one around him. But what hurt the most was a fumble at the 20 Yd line which gave EE very short yardage and another penalty move EE up to the 10. It was just one of those games where GP wasn’t stopped by EE, GP was killing their selves with penalties. The GP coaches must clean up the penalties and do it soon.

Bluecat the disturbing fumble was the first one down on EE goal and EE marched 90 yds up the field against GP heralded defense and went up 7 to 0. That is a 14 point exchange. When GP scored they kick the ball out of bounds two times and had to kick it over. The third time they swiped kick it down the middle of the field. They put Ryder Harrison in for punt returner and he signaled fair catch and he shook his head realizing he had 15 or 20 yds running room. He ran the ball back the next time. Lesson 101. Every 10 yds you lose on field position is a percent less chance of scoring. I was at the game.

No, didn't watch this game a single minute. Didn't think it'd be worth the time as bad as EE is this year. All the stuff you describe above shouldn't have happened against a team like that! Yup, GP better clean it up the next couple weeks if they want to win a district title that is for sure.

They even put in the backup kicker who kicked the ball out of bounds twice causing 2 more 5 Yd penalties. GP just needs to clean it up. The passing game is coming around nicely.

OK, I totally get and understand this. But they were doing this in the 1st and 2nd quarter with a 1 TD lead at halftime? Usually you get at least a 2-3 score lead and then start subbing and trying different things. Davis must have known they had EE completely outmanned so they did it early in this one.
