Went to a Baseball game and a Football score showed up. yes last second FG attempt to tie it by Brock muffed... London is a younger team than Sinton, they had 5 freshmen starters last year they could possibly be a force for next 2 years.

Was hoping Reagan Rattlers could win the 6A title. Their HC is Chan Chapman who is the nephew of Calallen HC Steve Chapman. They came up a little short.
Congrats to Sinton and London!

Congrats to Sinton and London. I was at the Sinton game and theirwas no doubt from the get go who was the better team.
On a related note. During football season we are told by many in the DFW area the football championships should remain up there because the best who make these things and draw the crowds are from there. We should apply the exact same standard for baseball and suggest to the UIL the baseball championships be moved to the southern part of the state where baseball puts us on the higher playing field and draws the crowds. Time to move ALL the baseball โships to Whataburger Field in Corpus. Quit being hypocrites UIL and North Texas fanboys.

Last game as a group for these So, Jr and Sr. Rylan and Rene Galvan and Canon Chester started this as they busted into the scene as Fr in 2019 and they ended with a state title. Wyatt Wiatrek was in GP in 2019 as a Fr.

Didn't notice this stat but saw it in facebook
final 6 playoff games (vs. the #3,4,5,11 & 18 teams in the state) the Pirates outscored the opposition by a whopping 56-1
Calallen with the only run in the 7th, they step it up another level against the state rank teams.

That is straight up sick. I don't know if any team has ever dominated in that fashion ever.

For those of you not aware.....Argyle went 77-1-1 back to back National Champs in 2018 and 2019 with back to back State Titles as well. The loss came against 5A State Champ Southlake Carroll in tournament play early in 2019, and the tie game in tournament play early as well. Between 2016 thru 2019, they were 130-10-2. Each year they field a top-rated baseball team and have established a top program in Texas. Kudos to a fantastic Sinton Pirates team this season. They are definitely a serious high-quality baseball program in Texas too.

Sinton started this in 2020 but covid cut that opportunity, 2021 made it to state semifinals and won it last year. Currently 58-1 in last 59 games with 32 shut outs.

Talented group for sure.
