I look at things knowing we have a very small window to potentially win a title. I'm in the belief we need all hands on deck to win. Having said that, Aledo doesn't need anyone who doesn't wanna be here.

3 and 13 are gone and only rumors about 9. With that the Bearcats will solider on and claim a ring. Owens is the most consistent performer on both sides of the ball and doesn’t require a bunch of coddling and hype. Seems it was said and I can believe a would be junior receiver felt the pressure of the moving up freshmen wr on his heals and decided Aledo wasn’t the right place for him anymore. Whatever the real reason I don’t think having guys in the locker room that don’t want to be there is good for the team. So far I am not at all conserned about next season or the overall state of the Bearcats.

Old news, this was known weeks ago, #9 is next. Owens will have to carry the load like did last year with Jase out. IMO, Owens is the best overall football player on the whole team so Aledo should be okay. Tre is severely underrated and honestly it's a great situation for him now. Do you know why they are leaving? The grass is always greener especially when your blinded by all the smoke being blown up ya..,,,

From the good ol star telegram. The numbers don’t really add up though. Two of Aledo’s top football players have bottom production numbers? How do they every win another game without these stats in the books? “Carter is one of the top cornerbacks in the country who happened to also play receiver for Aledo. He's ranked No. 95 overall and No. 12 in Texas by 247Sports.com. He recorded 42 tackles, five deflections, three interceptions, 450 receiving yards and six touchdowns in two years. Parks, referred to as "Money," recorded 28 catches for 405 yards and seven touchdowns last season. He's the No. 75 receiver in the country and No. 55 in the state. “ Let’s hear from the THOUSANDS of TEXAS players out there with better numbers actually helping their teams win and yet haven’t bought and paid for their own rankings yet. You guys think this is what the numbers of TOP PLAYERS look like? Read more here: www.star-telegram.com/sports/dfwvarsity/article213449994.html#storylink=cpy

I thought this team would compete with 2013 as the best but losing these 2 and Webb makes a big difference. Did #83 leave again or is he staying? Cant remember.

Cant remember. 83 left again and is sidelined with injury again. Oh ya Webb, I think he lead the team in tackles and for a CB that should tell you something about his coverage skills. So far everyone who left has someone in their place playing the position better. The latest departures will be no different. If James (would have before graduation) Owens, Ellison, leave - now there is a hole that wouldn’t be filled. But so far no problems from the departures.

I feel like at times you just drink way too much haterade. The 4 that left would have made an impact on the season.

Name a player who has left that someone didn’t step up and perform just as well if not better in their place. Kids and parents hear footsteps and pack up for what they think is a better fit? I respect commitment and hard work and that’s not what i see walking out the door. What is leaving is hype and discontent both are not needed for future success.

They are better than whoever is going to start this coming year. That was easy.

Considering ford played corner as well as 3 last season. 3 has not set a very high bar to be outperform. It’s not about potential it is real life on field performance something 3 and 13 had little of. Both will be outplayed by their replacements next season.

Now if Aledo protested this on grounds that they transferred to play football,,,,,,,,,,,,,and it appears they did, how do they not sit out a year ? That is the UIL rule if they move to play football ?

Webb would be a DB here. Starting at that. Not next season. He would be the #2 RB. Little Gilmer lost games for giving up to many point not from a lack of scoring. They would have played Webb on D if he was an upgrade.
