Yep, weather was great! It was a good track meet at Cabaniss with all the CCISD schools, G-P, Flour Bluff, Beeville, Goliad, & Robstown participating. Congrats to Devin Bisby who won the shot put and anchored the 4x100 relay team that edged out Carroll & Flour Bluff for 1st place! Strength & speed with Devin...Dixie State really got a steal in signing Devin to a football scholarship! Just watch & see!

Ya G-P was missing speedy Eric White due to Basketball also. Only have 10 kids running varsity now from what I hear due to basketball. On another note, GP won the JV shotput also.

Tommy Martin won the 100 in 10.6. That's very fast for it to be so early in the season. The state meet could be in his future.

Pretty sure 9.9 is it. Not only would that be a state record, it would be a national high school record. But in no way was I saying he would break records or even win state.I was just saying as good as he's running so early he might make state. Wishing him luck on all.though.

He might do both. Someone will.

What is a good time for a 7th grade 4x100 relay? That's hard to say ...but you know it when you see it. I'll take a stab at it. Anything sub 50 secs. Thats pretty fast for 7th grade to me.
