Actually, it was DCTF and FNF magazine doing the talking. Trail le Trash was yaking it up but he was in no way a real FB guy. He was an alter ego of another well known teams fan. DFCT did have us rank fairly high and it fed our egos. i have to admit i had some encouragung words to post, as others. trey le trash was just trash talking as usual. but we had our team going 4 rds deep, just like the PLC peeps are posting. GUYS!!! Trash was another poster posing as a FB trash talker. Same poster was Stroker and has a 250 IQ to squash us with his wisdom.

Calhoun has a good chance to make a run in the playoffs. They have the team for it and their road in their half of Reg IV will be easy as long as they don't slip to #2 in Div II. If they do, they will probably play Calallen in 2nd round IF Calallen can take 1st seed in Div II in their district. I'm not looking past round #1, but 29-4A was really bad last year and I think 30-4A will sweep them again this year no matter who represents us. I think Floresville played us better than SA Southside did last year. 2nd round will be tougher. Hoping Alice can beat a Valley team for a change so we can play them as I can't remember the last time we played them, if we have at all. Round 3, well that seems to be the tough one for us as we have to play either an Austin team or a SA team. But this is our year to represent Region IV Div II. I am predicting a win over Calallen in the Region IV Finals this year. A win over PNG in state semi's will put us on course to play Adedo for our first state title. OK, OK, I just woke up! But, there's no law against dreaming, is there? Not wanting to mess up your dream but I think if you did represent you region you get La Marque or Brenham or another 24 AAAA an as an opponent and one thing you see from these teams is speed speed and more speed and a few with good size but good luck kinda hope you do make it that far I like seeing PLC do good after all the hard years they have had But i will say one thing I still don't want to see you beat my Ricebirds if we cross paths in the future

quote] Daniel and his brother are a part of the Sandcrab family. These guys have welcomed Daniel, his brother Elijah, and Adam Shipp (another transfer) in with open arms. Where is Adam Shipp from? Had a few people talking about him, but not sure where he's from. Shipp is from Rockdale.

How can he handle the pressure of the over-bearing parents and fans? Will the new HC discipline/ cut players not willing to adopt his new rules?

Someone on 3ADL was saying that one of their coaches had told them that their current enrollment was already at 3A levels. So much talent in such small numbers.

Both team should drop from what I hear also but that was also the case during the last realignment El Campo missed dropping by 7 to 8 student s LaMarque missed by 9 students Also I'm told that in Galveston County the high school all have rotating doors as far as talent going from one school to th other but that is just something I'm told I do know one thing is the sure is a lot f talent in that area sometime i do wonder why all teams there are completive except Galveston Ball whick just dropped to 4 A and went 1-9 one of their their biggest school have the worst record oh well

I wish Calhoun and El Campo would play each other again. That's the kind of team we really need to play in order to guage ourselves. It's amazing how a school of El Campo's size puts a quality team on the field year in and year out. Less than 1000 kids and they play right there with the big boys.
How's the competition in 3A Reg III? The teams that come to mind is Cold Springs, Sealy, Navasota and Chapel Hill. El Campo would go Div I so 1 less game to play in playoffs.
Wow, just doesn't seem right, El Campo 3A.

Actually if EC would have dropped in the last go round they would have been in region 4 in district with West Columbia, Sweeney, Wharton etc for me living in Van Vleck travel time would have been great with maybe games with Cuero for pre district test better than traveling to Houston to play West side at butler i really hate that part of Houston but trip to Rosenberg aren't bad but i sure could do with out the trip to Lake Jackson I never liked playing there at Hopper I love playing Calhoun now they are really playing competitively

They have yet to rebuild the housing that many of the students were living in prior to Ike. Many of the students wound up in Texas City, Dickinson, League City, Santa Fe, etc. Galveston Ball lost a lot of talent in these displacements, not just numbers.

I know Ike really hurt La Marque also there were even rumors of a Texas City La Marque school consolidation also
